The year is flying by. April is just on the horizon and hopefully some of that spring weather we are all craving. This last month was eventful between field trips, special events, and the musical. Congratulations to all the performers of Disney’s Aladdin. Everyone gave it their all and put on a phenomenal show. The second performance had technical difficulties and the music had unfortunately cut out, but the show went on and everyone sang every line acapella. Really proud of everyone.
CURRICULUM
This month we will be going on a safari. Well, not really, but we will be exploring all the different experiences one might have on one. What animals would they see? What would the landscape be like? What type of weather would they endure and what food would they find? We hope our projects wow you as much as seeing a pride of wild lions traversing the Serengeti.
FIELD TRIPS
The Barracudas had a great time bowling last month. More field trips to come in the future.

SPECIAL EVENTS
Last Thursday the Minnows and Sharks entered the wizarding world of Harry Potter and PEDP became Hogwarts Extended Day Program. The students made their own wands, prepared their spellbooks, wizard hats, and even played a game of quidditch. We hope they’re re-entry into the muggle world wasn’t too jarring.

Wednesday May 31st
Rehearsals have begun. Reminder for the parents: the children should be practicing at home to ensure a stunning performance. We are confident they will put on a great show.
LUNCH
Unlike other day’s school lunch, Wednesday’s lunch with the program is a cold one. Some students love them while others seem to be unhappy with these offerings. Please check in with your child about this.
