Welcome to our shortest month at PEDP. It is chock full of fun activities for your children and we are looking forward to lots of adventures. In January, we indulged in the world of horses, our ski program was in full swing, and both the Sharks and Minnows had wonderful clubs the children participated in. Read on to see what will be happening in the month ahead.
Curriculum Theme:
This month, our theme is Mysteries! Such a fun theme that the teachers are creating wonderful STEM projects, crafts, and activities for all the fish in the reef to explore.
Field Trips:
The Sharks are embarking on a field trip Thursday, February 6th to Hometown Arcade in Norwood. There will be classic arcade games to enjoy as well as Pinball, Skeeball, Bubble Hockey, Air Hockey, Arcade Basketball, and modern gaming consoles. Something for everyone!
Classes:
We are offering a sewing class for children in Grades 2-5. Hip Stitch will come to us for 7 weeks from March 6th – May 1st. The class will take place from 3:30-4:30 P.M. The kids will learn to sew by hand and by machine. They will make several projects including a pillow, a tote bag, and some stuffies. The cost for the 7-week class is $210. Fundraising:
Save the date for Trivia Night! It’s happening on Friday, May 2nd and is always a good time to be had for both staff and parents. More details to come.

- PEDP will be closed on Monday, February 17th.
