Can you believe it’s June?! We’ve had a marvelous May, and we hope you did too! The Minnows, Barracudas, and Sharks spent the month embarking on field trips, participating in clubs, soaking up the sun outside, and feeling like royalty with our Kings & Queens theme. Now to finish out the school year with a jam-packed, joyful June! Here’s what we’re looking forward to:
CURRICULUM THEME:
What better way to gear up for summer than by celebrating Ocean Life? We’re excited to dive into the endless sea of possibilities for underwater crafts and activities this month!
SPECIAL EVENT WEDNESDAY:
Wednesday 6/12 will be a fun-filled day for all fish teams to celebrate the year. Keep an eye out for more info on what your child may need!
Minnows: Wacky Water Day
Barracudas: Tie-Dye
Sharks: Crazy Clue Chase
STEP UP DAY:
On Tuesday 6/18, kids who will be graduating out of their fish teams will spend the day with their future groups! Current 1st graders will move up to the Barracudas, 3rd graders will swim with the Sharks, and 5th graders will spend the day with the Ks. It’s a fun day of learning what it’ll be like next year, and making new friends!
FAMILY PICNIC:
As always, we’re looking forward to our PEDP Family Picnic on Thursday 6/13, from 5-7:30pm at Ware’s Cove. As a reminder, an email invitation went out on 5/29 with additional information. Please use the Sign Up Genius link to bring something to share! PEDP Picnic Sign Up
PAYMENTS
The 2024-25 PEDP tuition deposit is due Friday June 14th
All payments must be in by the last day of school (This includes money owed for: Extra hours, late pick-ups, calling fees, and tuition.)
OVER THE SUMMER
The program will not be open over the summer but the Leadership Team will be busy hiring and getting ready for next year. If you need to reach us, please email at kids@peirceedp.com.
