Dear PEDP Alumni and Friends,
As the Peirce Extended Day Program (PEDP) enters its 48th year, we’re proud to share that our community continues to thrive and grow. This school year, we are serving nearly 65% of Peirce Elementary students—161 children from 120 families. To meet this increased demand, we’ve welcomed one of our largest teams ever: 18 full- and part-time teachers, along with 4 student teachers from Boston College.
With this growth comes a deepened sense of responsibility. Our mission remains focused on nurturing each child’s development—academically, emotionally, and socially. We’re committed to offering a safe, engaging environment filled with meaningful experiences. Whether it’s building focus and calm in “Movement and Mindfulness,” strengthening bodies in Ski & Snowboard, or expanding hearts through our Annual Craft Fair supporting charitable causes—PEDP helps children grow in every sense of the word.
More children also means more diverse needs. Our dedicated teachers work hard to meet each child where they are. This level of personalized care is only possible with a strong team and low staff-to-child ratios.
How can you help?
Your financial support can make a real difference. Contributions help us maintain affordable tuition and ensure we can continue to invest in qualified, compassionate educators. Whether large or small, every donation helps us support more children more effectively. Donor-advised funds and workplace matching gifts are also excellent ways to contribute.
