Looks like we’re having a late winter this year. Who knew we would be getting this much snow in March after such a mild season. The ski program just missed out on all the fresh snow. Bummer. Our program was also happy to invite the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute to show us their appreciation for our donation. After receiving a comically large check and posing for a photo, the scientists from WHOI showed us an extensive presentation on ocean life and how their institute works to protect it. February proved to be a great success and with so many things to look forward to, we hope the same for March.
CURRICULUM
Our theme for March is Greece. This Mediterranean country is the birthplace of democracy, the Olympics and is known for its delicious food. The Ancient Greeks were at the cutting edge of invention, art, philosophy, and theater, and the present-day Greek culture is synonymous with being laid back, breezy and social connection. With its long and rich history, Greece should prove to be an invaluable source of inspiration for projects and games.

Join us for Bowling at this family-run fun center. It’s bound to be a hit. Trip will go from 1:30 to 5:15 and will cost $25. An email will be sent once registration is open.
CLASSES
Hip Stitch! (Barracudas and Sharks)
March 30th – May 25th on Thursdays @ 3-4pm
This sewing class is offered to 2nd-5th graders.
Cost is $200 for the 8 weeks.
