Finally some snow that may stick around for a few days! The kids love going down the slide into a pile of snow and building snow forts. So much fun! We have a lot of fun planned for February, too.
February Theme
This month at PEDP our theme is Japan. The Thursday program will have a special event on February 3rd where they will learn a Japanese game, test their anime knowledge with some trivia questions and tap into their creativity as they make several Japanese crafts.

Vacation Week Programming
PEDP is running a Vacation Week Program for February (TU 2/22 – F 2/25). We have planned four fun filled days – Beach Bash Tuesday, Spy Day Wednesday, Sports & Games Day Thursday and Pajama Party Friday. For more details and to register your child, log into the Jackrabbit Parent Portal – Jackrabbit Parent Portal. Deadline for signing up is Friday, February 4th.
Winter at PEDP
We go outside everyday at PEDP unless it’s below 20 degrees (including the wind chill factor). Your child will tell you that they need “all 5 things” – boots, a hat, gloves/mittens, a warm jacket and snow pants when there is snow. Please make sure that your child is bringing sneakers to change into when their boots come off. We do not want them tracking snow and water all over the floor as people can slip and fall.
Family BINGO Night!
With the success of that last year’s event, the PEDP Fundraising Committee is hosting another Family Bingo Night (via Zoom). With tailor-made cards featuring categories such as local eateries, PEDP and Peirce staff, and Pop Culture, everyone in your household will have fun filling their spaces on their way to a BINGO. More information will be emailed shortly, but for now, save Saturday night, March 5 from 7:00-8:00 pm.
Registration for 2022-2023
For those of you wondering, registration will likely take place in March. More information will be emailed out as the time gets closer.
Reminders and Requests
- Thursday, February 3rd is an early release day.
- The Ski/Snowboard program is scheduled to end Wednesday, February 16th barring any other cancellations.
- NO SCHOOL OR PEDP on Monday, February 22nd (President’s Day)
