Here’s what’s happening at PEDP in March…

REGISTRATION for 2020-21 BEGINS MONDAY, 3/2

THEME: AFRICA

Did you know the Sahara Desert is bigger than the continental USA? Can you say, “hello” in Swahili? Fun-filled activities and fascinating facts await us as we buckle up and travel to Africa at EDP!

CLASSES:

  • Etiquette Class continues – Wednesdays 3/4, 11, 18 & 25
  • Hip Stitch continues– Thursdays 3/5, 12 & 26 (no class 3/19)

COMMUNITY SERVICE:

  • This month we complete our three-month outreach mission to the Community Day Center in Waltham. It has been a rewarding and impactful project and so appreciated by the patrons at the homeless shelter. We welcome you to read their letters of thanks on the EDP wall during dismissal.  On Tuesday, 3/24, the students will be sewing 50 travel roll-ups and filling them with assorted toiletry items. Thank you to our friends at Pondside Dental Assoc. and Dr. Elaine Kaye for their generous donations of toothbrushes, toothpaste, sunscreen and body lotion!

EARLY RELEASE DAY: Thursday 3/19 is an Early Release!

  • Barracudas (2/3) have a Bowling field trip to Ryan Family Amusements in Millis. Cost is $25. Sign up today on the parent portal. PLEASE NOTE: All payments are due by 3/19.
  • Minnows (K/1) & Sharks (4/5) will be having a “Spring” special event at EDP.

ADVENTURERS TRIPS (4/5):

  • Tuesday 3/10 Natick Community Farm – Maple sugaring!
  • Tuesday 3/24 Laser Quest

TRIVIA NIGHT: FRI 3/13

REQUESTS & REMINDERS FOR ALL PARENTS:

3/13 PEDP CLOSING EARLY AT 6PM

  • Friday, PEDP will be closing a half hour early at 6:00pm so staff can attend Trivia Night
