Happy New Year! I hope you all enjoyed the holiday break. January is another busy month at PEDP…
January THEME: “On This Day” We will be learning and celebrating fun and historical facts about each day of the month. Get ready because everyone is welcome to wear their favorite chapeau on Wednesday, January 15 for National Hat Day !
CLASSES:
- Ski/Snowboard Program – Program starts Tuesday, January 7th.
- Etiquette Class is back on the books! Details will be sent out soon.
MUSICAL:
- Rehearsals for “Beauty and the Beast” start Monday, January 6th.
COMMUNITY SERVICE:
- We are gearing up to make our first of three monthly donations to the Community Day Center in Waltham. We’ve ordered dozens and dozens of warm hats, gloves and winter socks that we’ll be delivering in a couple of weeks to help folks get through the cold months. On Friday, January 10th, the kids at PEDP will be creating cards to give with them.
PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES:
- This month, we will begin scheduling conferences with all interested parents. We are required by our licensing agency to do an annual progress report for each child and we like to go over these with you in person. We’ll be sending info out this week about how to sign up for your conference.
THANK YOU! to everyone who came out to support “Music from the Movies”, the K/1 Review. It was terrific! Thanks to Miss Kim, Miss Deb, Miss Courtney, and Miss Laurie P for putting together a fun show!
REQUESTS & REMINDERS FOR ALL PARENTS:
- As of today (January 1), credit cards are no longer an option for payment. If you have not already done so, please log onto the parent portal and switch to bank draft to continue payments online. You may also pay by check or cash.
- For those of you who pay tuition in two installments, we will be posting the amount due on January 15th. Payments are due February 1st.
- Our monthly board meeting will be held on January 27th at 7:00 pm. See me for the location if interested in attending.
