Courtney Broaddus-Marlow
Teaching Coordinator-Minnows
This is Miss Courtney’s 11th year at PEDP and 5th year as our Minnow Coordinator. She has just welcomed a newborn named Abigail and the staff is thrilled – though we miss her during her maternity leave this Fall. Courtney has enjoyed working primarily with kindergarten & first graders but likes connecting with the older kids through her love of science, technology and her quirky sense of humor. She hails from Virginia and is still trying to get used to our Northeast winters!
Interim Teaching Coordinator-Minnows
Miss Deb B will be stepping in as Minnow Coordinator while Miss Courtney is on maternity leave this fall.
Assistant Program Director, Teaching Coordinator-Barracudas
Ms. Joanne earned her Bachelor of Science in Early Education from Roger Williams College in Bristol, RI. With a deep commitment to our program, students and staff, Ms. Joanne brings a wealth of information to us and has been an integral part of the PEDP team since 1989. Some of her favorite times at PEDP are spent cooking, crafting and sewing with the kids. In her leisure time, she also enjoys counted cross-stitch, reading, watching television, and spending time with family and friends. She’s also a big NASCAR fan!
JP Myers Teaching Coordinator-Sharks
This is Mr. JP’s third year with EDP and 2nd as the Shark’s coordinator. His love of nature comes from growing up with five siblings on a chicken and horse farm in New Jersey. When he’s not exploring the outdoors, he likes to spend his time writing. His commitment, creativity and kindness are a welcome addition to PEDP and he is a wonderful model for the 4th and 5th graders in the Sharks!!
