Vacation Week Kids Being Visited by the Whalemobile!

Hello and welcome to March!! (The longest month of the school year!)

Winter still has its icy grasp on our Peirce community, but fear not, Spring is on the horizon! During February, our kids had a lot of fun with our Cinema theme. We made shadow puppet shows, stop motion movies, and recreated our favorite movie scenes! We had our final ski trip in February, which concluded weeks of adrenaline-filled gliding down the mountain, learning new ski techniques and enjoying the winter weather to the fullest. We hope to see many of you back on the slopes next winter! Our musical rehearsals continue to light up the hallways of Peirce on Tuesdays in preparation for their show in April. The cast is doing an excellent job so far!

With spring coming near, PEDP is prepping our kids for thawing of the ice and the blooming of the flowers by learning all about insects during our Creepy Crawlies theme this month! As a nature enthusiast, this is going to be a very exciting month for me! Look forward to many bug projects, insect facts, arachnid trivia, and more this March! PEDP will really be bugging out on the Early Release Thursday 3/19, where we will have a bug-themed special event! The kids will look forward to a caterpillar race, insect jeopardy, movement games, and much more!

I know it’s only March, but we are already preparing for next school year. Registration for next year’s PEDP opens on Wednesday, March 11th at 7:00 am. Look for an email from us on March 4th with further details.

March 11th, The Wednesday Barracudas are going on a field trip to Ryan Family Amusements in Millis for a fun-filled day of bowling! Wednesday Barracuda families can register through the parent portal, which is linked here. → Parent Portal Link

We look forward to seeing you every weekday in March 🙃!!
