PEDP Newsletter January 2025

January 2025 News from PEDP!

Happy New Year PEDP families! We hope you have all had a wonderful and restful holiday season.

An eventful first month of 2025 is planned. But before we get into all of that, let’s reflect on our December Craft Fair…

The staff is excited to announce that the fair raised a record-breaking $3,800 this year!! The students did a wonderful job of helping to run the event and shopping for their family and friends. Thank you to all the families that participated in making this fun and worthy cause such a great success!

Curriculum Theme

This month we are learning all about the fascinating world of horses! There is much to discover between their history, breeds and color, lifestyles, horse shows and riding styles, the science of their anatomy and nature, and much more. Your child will have ample opportunity to participate in crafts and STEM, and other projects that cover this topic.

Special Events – Clubs

The Sharks are going to have clubs on Tuesdays in January. There are three clubs that the students have the opportunity to choose from. Mr. JP will be doing a Speed Club (card game), Mr. Olivier will be running a Chess Club, and Ms. Yvonne will be leading a Community Club (acts of kindness and paying it forward to members of our community).

The Barracudas will be having clubs on Thursdays in January. The kids will choose their club on January 2nd and they will run from January 9th to the 30th.
