The Reviews are in and Best of Broadway was a success! The kids, under the direction of Miss Jamie, did a wonderful job with all three of the shows! Thank you to all who helped out and all who came to see the show. We appreciate the support 🙂
Curriculum Theme
From polar bears to pineapples, we had a great time learning about Alaska and Hawaii last month. April’s theme is Wonders of the World. We look forward to discovering many new facts about the many interesting places that are a part of our world.
Field Trips
The Barracudas had a fun time at The Butterfly Place. So many of the kids were excited to share how many butterflies landed on them while on the trip. The Sharks had their first trip of the year to Xtreme Craze for a game of laser tag and play in the air park. They were active for about two hours straight! All three fish groups will have trips on the next early release day, Thursday, May 9. Information on each trip will be sent out in the next few weeks.
Classes
Movement and Mindfulness is a program designed to teach techniques that have been researched and proven to help lower stress, alleviate anxiety and bring balance to the body. Using inspiring music, these engaging sessions begin with movement followed by relaxation techniques and other mindfulness practices. This class is held for the Minnows on Tuesdays from 4/23 – 5/28. You can find more information about the class on the Parent Portal.
Fundraising
Trivia Night is almost here! Join us for a wonderful Italian dinner followed by a fun game of trivia and lots of socializing with the staff and other parents. The event is Friday, April 26th beginning at 6:00 pm. To reserve your seat, respond to the evite previously sent or email us! To pay, visit https://peirceedp.com and select “Upcoming Events” then “Trivia Night Fundraiser”. Payment can also be made by cash or check payable to “Peirce EDP” and dropped off at PEDP. NOTE: PEDP will be closing at 5:30 pm Friday, April 26th so that the staff can head over to the event.
Spring Vacation
PEDP will be offering a program for interested families April 16-19 from 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM. We have a lot of fun theme days, field trips, food, and activities planned! Find the details through the Parent Portal. Deadline for signing up is Friday, April 5th.
2024-2025 Registration
Registration for the next school year is underway. Space is limited and days are filling up. Registration deadline is Wednesday, April 10th. Sign up through the Parent Portal. Make sure you choose the FY25 classes.
