Parents,

We have decided to move away from our typical newsletter format and move toward something more streamlined. Curious to hear your feedback…

October THEME: Fantastic Beasts

CLASSES:

Paper Mouse “Collage Exploration” – 4 week course offered to grades K-5 on Thursdays starting October 17th. Sign up through the Parent Portal. Cost = $100.
Ski/Snowboard Program – 6 week course for grades 1-5 offered on Tuesdays beginning January – Information about enrolling to be emailed out on October 15th.

K/1 Review: Rehearsals start Tuesday, October 8th for this fun production. Sign up through the Parent Portal. Participation fee = $30.

Field Trips:

Adventurers (4/5) – Tuesday, October 15th – Lookout Farm in Natick
Adventurers – Tuesday, October 29th – USS Constitution Ship and Museum
Minnows (K/1) – Wednesday, October 30th – Franklin Park Zoo – Cost = $25 (Sign-up will be available on Parent Portal later this week.)

Events:

Friday, October 4th – Early Birds will participate in “Walk-to-School Day”. Please drop off by 7:45 AM.
Wednesday, October 30th – Early Release Day! School dismisses at 12:30 PM.

REQUESTS & REMINDERS FOR ALL PARENTS…

Please remember that you must notify PEDP prior to school dismissal whenever your child will not be attending for the day. You may do this in person, by phone (617-332-5881), in writing, or via e-mail: kids@peirceedp.com There is a calling fee of $25 if the staff need to make phone calls to find out where your child is at attendance time.
All children should be bringing a water bottle with them to school EVERY day. Please make sure that they are labeled with your child’s name.
Let’s play it safe! DO NOT PARK IN THE DRIVEWAY to drop off or pick up your children.
The Early Birds program ($15 per day) and extra hours ($12 per hour) are available to all families when needed. Just ask!
